Hello everyone! My name is Jan and I just joined the forum, although I've visited it several times in the past for ideas.

I have always enjoyed Halloween, but have really gotten in to decorating and creating a fun experience for the neighborhood kids (and their parents) over the past 3 years.

My wife and I became foster parents and giving the children in our home a fun celebration has become our main focus.

I am currently in the process of building walls for the Haunted House that will be in our garage and looking for more ideas for our walk through front yard.

GOOD for you Jan Shanafelt my two girls were the main inspiration for my decorating at Halloween , now my oldest is 20 next month and my youngest is 16 i am running out of excuses other than the local kids still need somewhere to trick or treat , but for now i am still decorating , WELCOME to the forum from England .
