All in all it was a good one this year! Good turnout, and I had some great new items thanks to my secret reapers, including the Egyptian murals and the hanging witch jars.
I ran out of time and didn't include my Ultimate Winged Reaper or Gatekeeper props, so those will have to be priority next year.
LOVE the whole thing! Really love your bride and headless horseman. He seems to have been a huge hit this year with everyone's haunts. Guess CVS really does know what they're doing!
Thanks Deadview and Darkhaven! I'm definitely planning on doing a video next year. I've done a haunt outside of my home for charities the past couple years, and this last year was my first at home for a while. I plan on doing it at home again this coming Halloween so things should be a bit faster, haha. I also had to master the art of staking the props down so they were wind-proof.
I have two goals for this year - build a PVC entrance arch, and turn the big tree into a Bradbury-esque pumpkin tree.
ZombieSmash, that's just too cool. I love your Egyptian area, and your full size figures and spider area. Your witch area is really nice too. I loved seeing many of the things I sent you for one of the reapers being on display. Great Haunt.
A M A Z I N G! the props you have are awesome. I love your haunt. I see a lot from grandon road. and some from improvements catalog. I love all of them.
wow, what a fabulous haunt, love the set ups and props, you have them set up nicely. I LOVE the Egyptian thing, but have always been interested in them and their history. you did a wonderful job, Did you make your huge spider? that is awesome, I am always going to do a big spider area ,,,
WOW! Everything looks great. I also recognize things that you go in Reaper exchanges. Love the use of all the full size props with the others. Nice job!
Trex - It is both inside and out. I used my garage and front yard. Ideally it would all be inside, but you can only do so much with a one-car garage, haha.
nightmarefamily - both the Lady in Black and bride (Venetian Victoria) were Grandin Road purchases.
Bethene - I did make the spider. I modeled it off of one I saw at HomeGoods, then used styrofoam, wire and a bunch of black fabric. He's held up surprisingly well.
Fantastic! So glad you posted pics. Love the glowing eyes in the tree. Your witches scene is perfect. Your Egyptian scene is wonderful because it's not something you often see. Great job
