As usual I did a fair bit of decorating for Halloween, which is probably strange since I live out in the country where I have never gotten any trick or treat activity. I continue to do it every year though; I enjoy it. I try to go for more of an Edward Gorey look but not a gory look.

The cemetery...

With Charlie lurking over all; yes Charlie the scarecrow.
My interior theme is that of a Victorian era Halloween party/seance...apparently gone horribly wrong.

Also the scene of a "funeral viewing"...why not, apparently Victorian era people would have pictures taken with their dead relatives.

The dearly departed...with the Angel of Death standing over her.

I guess she's waiting for her turn in the coffin.

The dinner party section.

A collection of interesting things.

I have no idea what is going on here, I just like it.

The mantle in the den.

I actually have scaled back a little this year in some respects as I've left more of the "normal decor" up rather than remove everything as I have in the past. I've also added a few things. It works.
