I want to thank everyone here for the awesome information and inspiration. After seeing the tutorial on the monster mud reaper I had to try it. He stands about 7'6" tall. I built the hand from a clothes hanger and instamorph and the skull only cost me $15.:D

Thanks everyone for the comments. For the lighting I have an LED tea light in the head, the lantern and my wife helped getting a light to shine on the side of his arm. I'm still trying to decide if I want to make a giant scythe for him to hold or just have him point or something. here's some more pics with a closeup of the hand I made and a pic with me for scale. I'm 6'8".

Thanks. Last year was the first time I heard of silicone masks. I found out that Immortal Masks is pretty close to where I live so I took a trip down there and ended up buying that mask.

Decided to try and make a scythe for him. I shaped a piece of PVC with a heat gun to match a picture I found online. Then sanded it down with 60 grit sandpaper and used some wood stain for the handle. My brother is working on the blade, the blade in the picture is a piece of cardboard with silver spray paint to see how it looks.
