Has anyone purchased or researched the multi-prop remote from spirit? I saw this yesterday, it works by plugging this into the prop and placing on the try-me setting. You can then trigger them remotely with an a-d button option. This would be interesting to me if the remote could be hacked and replaced with a motion detector instead, similar to the driveway sensor hack. Does anyone have an idea on how to do this with this item? I unfortunately own a few of these props and they are terrible to trigger with a step pad or the built in sound/motion/heat sensors they have built in.

I would think that you could hack into it, the motion sensor would need a power source and the contact inside the motion sensor would be used to activate the remote to the props. OR you could go to Fright Props and order the wireless remote controller with PIR activations.

I have one on order, but plan to use it as designed, activate when I WANT activated.
I have not seen them in any of my NJ stores (6-8 different) but was told its in the Egg Harbor store.
My problem is they are all use the same 4 different frequencies and there are not adjustable. I was hoping to buy 2 different packs to operate 8 separate props.

If you have basic wiring skills, it looks like this may work for you for $30 for six channels, and they have a 15 channel one for about $60:

If anyone gets one, please let us know how well it works. Some of the comments indicate the distance can go from 30m to 700 feet or more if you unwind the antenna wire and let it stick out.

Those work fine. I have (2) 15 versions. They are nice because you dont have to carry around 30 remotes. They work through walls and the distance is great.
The link goes to a 12 volt system. My spirit halloween monsters are all run my 6 volts. Would the 6 volt adapters be able to power those? Also are they hard to wire up? I don't think the spirit stuff uses a mono TS plug but something similar. Thanks for any info.

I made a video last year. It may help or confuse you. Around the 1:50 and 11:30 mark is what you need
Wow Industen your electrical skills are way advanced! I'm just a beginner. Emylo just emailed that they sell a 6v 15 channel version so that would save me the voltage reduction challenge. I thought the try me button just shorted out the two wires, but I guess from your video that is really sending the animatronics 6 volts. So if I wanted to add one of the emylo receivers to each of my animatronics could i just build a
Y cable with dc plugs, so I would plug the dc adapter to this y cable and then plug the y cable into the animatronic and also off that cable would be a wire into the emylo unit giving it 6 v. Then out of the emylo unit would be the try me plug, what ever that is, like a 2.5mm mono plug. That would plug into the try me hole and so the emylo transmitter would fire off that particular animatronic. Would that work? I think the emylo unit would have to be set for momentary but still not sure if it would actually send voltage or just short out the wire.

Sorry for the long post but want to see if it is something i am capable of doing before i invest the money.

Thanks so much, Andy.

The try me button does short out the two wires. The 4.5v is voltage for the bear because it was a battery operated prop. It is a dry contact so you just need to go NO from board to one side of the button and C to the other. The 12v or 6v just gives the actually board its power it doesn't go to the prop.

You could Y off by using 12v or 6v each relay needs power itself. You could also just use a 12v or 6v power adapter on each relay to save on wiring.

If it wasen't a try me button then you have to do a little more work with wiring.

Awesome Industen, thank you. I will order up the stuff and try it out on my least favorite animatronic. Lol!
Thanks for all your help.

I finally got my emylo stuff. First I ordered a 6 volt 15 channel system directly from emylo because my props are 6 volts and I was going to power it from that. After a month I got a cheap plastic bridge. I complained and they assured me it was a mistake so they sent me a new order. A month later I got another cheap plastic bridge. Fortuneatly I paid by PayPal so after filing a complaint they refunded my money. So I ordered the 12v 15 channel emylo kit from Amazon and got it in 2 days!

So Industen, I wired it up as you suggested. A 12 v adapter to the + and - power screws and then the try me wires to the common and NO screws. Programmed each unit to be momentary (They come set to latched) and it worked perfectly. The range is amazing and now I can control 15 props with one remote.

Thanks so much Industen, you made this so easy!
