I is on the back of it when you buy it.
But it is like a switch there should be three wires
2 for positive. 1 for negative.
You hook a power cord to one neg and 1 pos.
The positive is swithed so you hook the positive to the unused pos to an outlet.
Then you connect the neg. from the outlet to the neg on the sensor.

there are actually 4 wires- red, black, green(ground), and brown
is there any way to just use an extension cor cut in half so that i can plug it into the wall and then plug a power supply into it?
like:
WALL------Switch----power supply---Prop

Just a heads up. I have one of these in my garage which it works great for. But the range on the sensor is only about 7 feet and the on time is about 15 seconds before it cycles off. I use the standard flood light versions for props. Since you can find some with very adjustable on times. They also have adjustable ranges.
