Monster Mud beginner with a basic question

1904 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Todd P.
Hi all. I'm about to make my first attempts at sculpting with Monster Mud and I have a question: Does it stick to itself, so that I can create a piece in multiple steps, or do I have to use it all at once?

For example, if I wanted to create, say, a scarecrow figure. Could I work on putting together the head first, and then mount the assembly on the rest of the outfit later on? Or would I have to get it all done at once?

I ask because I fear the process might be difficult in the winter months where I live, especially since my heated workspace is quite small.

Thanks.

I would recommend working bottom to top, but yes, you can take it in steps.
Thanks! I am in fact working my way more slowly through your tutorial at this moment. Great stuff.
