I know you can build your own but, if you are electiclly handicapped like myself these are a great option. I found these in my travels this week. They are sold at Walmart individually or in a two pack and run about $6 each ($12 for 2-pack) and availible in the Christmas section. they can not be daisy chained so this would probably be best for small displays.

I've tried these too. The filters really cut down the light. The white ones would make a decent dim flood from above to light around a 10-12 circle. With a filter on, they pretty much just light one tombstone. And the filtered light is very washed out compared to led spots with colored LEDs. But they are small and very nice. There are 5 surface mount white LEDs in them. They have a 2 prong polarized plug.

I get very much the same effect using dime store LED Penights with coloured cellophane over the lenses. Cheap, no wires, easy to modify. I prefer a darker graveyard with highlites on the gravestones and props.
