Hello, I am looking to put a small led spotlight on my outdoor skeletons, preferably a eerie purple or possibly green just to get them some light. I don't want it to be real bright just enough to highlight. I will have 1 light per skeleton. I have a/c power available to plug in to. What are the recommendations? A low cost option would be best, even a multi pack would help. Thank you.

The only things I've really found after extensive online searching seem to be the Nanos and the Precision Alphas you can buy from frightprops. A precision Alpha looks like it's gonna run you about $70 and the Nano is about $32 after you buy the adapter.

Or you can make your own, there's several youtube vids showing how and of course Stiltbeast has one. I don't want to try that, my electrical skills are abysmal.

I tried ordering the smallest spotlights I could find on amazon; four came in a box, two of them didn't work, it cost $55, they were too big and too bright and too CHINUH.

I'm gonna try taping regular LED flood bulbs with black electrical tape and leaving a little hole for the light to shine through in the middle, I expect failure.

I have used these bulbs for several projects. Not only are they color adjustable, they also have several brightness settings. They have standard bulb size socket bases, so you would need to buy or make a fixture with a standard socket. Here is a video I made a couple years ago about creating spotlights using these bulbs and PVC pipe. If I were to do this project again, I would connect the wires with solder covered with shrink tubing rather than use wire nuts, although I've never had any problems with them.

I use the led spots from Halloween FX they come in different sizes and are all 12vdc. I now have over 100 of them I use in my haunt and their kits are awesome with different extensions, etc. They are a little pricy but its worth it to simply set them up and turn them on. I use several on timers and others on motion sensors with no problems. For skeletons they work awesome!
