TK, what kind of glue are you using to attach the paper sign to the wood? Mine peeled off last year.

I just used a spray adhesive I picked up from Lowes.

Just wanted to let you know I have started the construction of KPrimm's signs. I'll get the sheets printed in the next day or two, then I cut everything out, secure the sheets to the boards, and do many, many coatings of the spray shellac.

Ok, for those you you who wanted to see more . . . here are some designs for Spookilicious Mama. This was the initial design.

Next, I went with a darker color theme and changed the font. This was based on a request to introduce a little more "midnight syndicate" into the sign.

This color scheme was well received, but it lacked some of the finess of the first sign, so I built a third sign with another font and angled the text to give it more style.

The third version was "almost perfect" but Spookilicious Mama really preferred the original font. So, this fourth version is the final.

Also designed a sign for BlueFrog. I did three very similar versions, but this font won out.

I'm getting back into Halloween mode and I was looking at these signs again. Do you do the graphic design yourself, or do you have someone do it?

I do all of the design and building of the signs myself. If you're interested, I can design some signs for you, $15 an hour for the design work and I email you a hi-res image you can print.

I can design and build you a sign and ship it to you. That's usually about $50 + shipping for a small sign (anything 12x18 or smaller) or $100 + shipping for something larger.

If you're interested in making your own signs, I do most of my work in Photoshop, but I also use Illustrator to make some of the spirals and banners.

LOL! You are making me look like a really picky customer I have to say I really love the final product and can not wait to make my very own sign for this years Haunt! I just hope the final product comes out as nice as yours did

I'm sure it will. It's actually pretty easy, once you have the design. After that, it's just print, cut, mount, seal.
