Posting to hopefully get some dialogue going about this company. I have made one purchase from them two years ago. It was for a beautiful little creature prop called Pesci. I was more than pleased with the entire process from ordering to receiving the item. The detail and finish were amazing. Here's a pic of the prop

I wanted to order a couple masks from them for next year but have heard some not so good reports from a couple other forum members regarding bad experiences with them and a seemingly faltering quality. I hope the chime in as well as any other members who may have purchased from them. Please include pics if possible and describe what you had issues with. Thanks!

I spoke to Kyle today, and I feel confident that he is going to make things right. He is going to rework Destiny and Pesci and ship them back to me at his expense. He said he would also either refund me some of the return postage or send me a little something extra. He asked, "You like little creatures, right?" lol (Yep, that's me. All about Gothica, Vampires, and creepy little creatures.)

Right now, I'm looking for a good, smaller box to ship the pieces in, and hope to get them in the mail tomorrow. He didn't give me a timeline on when I could expect them back. But I will post updates as I get them, and post pictures of the redone items as soon as they arrive. Yay!

Really good to hear this! I now feel more confident ordering from him, which is good because he does make some really nice stuff. Happy for you VV. Please post pics of the new/improved props when you get them back.

I have some of their props that I purchased off E-bay (older props) and they are definitely of better quality than their newer stuff in my opinion. I have one item I ordered that was clearly painted white with grey tones on their main website but when I got it, it was purple. I like the look of the item but the paint sucks, and their trim work has left a lot to be desired. I still enjoy the look of their stuff and will buy on occasion but only when I see several pictures of all angles to see the trim and hair work.

I bought the fawn and wolf this year and thought the quality, painting, customer service etc... were great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Happy New Year everyone! I've had a couple of people ask me by PM about the progress with Destiny and Pesci. So I wanted to give you all an update.

On 12/18, Ashley from MS sent me an email acknowledging the package had just arrived. She said that they'd fix them up and ship them back as soon as they could. I know Christmas is a hectic time for everyone, so I haven't expected to hear anything more to this point. But I'm hoping that they'll be fixed up soon, and I'll let everyone know what else transpires, and certainly post pics when they are returned to me.

Hauntcast, I've been AWOL the last couple of weeks, but I wanted to thank you for your post, and your video. Your Wolf and Fawn look incredible. I can see why you're so pleased. I really enjoyed watching your video. Your props and lighting are awesome.

UPDATE:
This morning, Ashley from Midnight Studios FX, sent me an email containing pics of my re-done Destiny and Pesci for my approval. I think they look fantastic, and I wanted to post them so everyone could have a look.

Pesci got some very nice rings on his horns. That extra detail took him from a very nice prop to an extraordinary little ghoul. He's awesome.

Destiny got some smoothing and a new paint job. I think she looks 100X better. And from what I see in the pictures, I'm very pleased with her. I did ask that Kyle give her bloodshot eyes, and he is going to do that, and then the props will be shipped back to me.

I'd like to thank Kyle for fixing these props for me, and I'd like to thank Ashley for the pics and updates.

I'll post again when I receive Destiny and Pesci. I'm very excited to see them in person.

Pesci by Midnight Studios FX

My creature re-dos arrived Wednesday. I'm sorry I wasn't able to post before now.

Here's Pesci. His horns got repainted and he looks great.

The three skulls were thrown in by Kyle to help offset my $52 postage cost to return the items to him.. He sent the pieces back to me at his expense.

Destiny by Midnight Studios FX

And here is Destiny after her makeover. She looks 100X better. After Ashley sent me pics of the pieces for approval, I asked Kyle to please bloodshot the eyes. He did that, and I really like how the eyes turned out.

Thank you to Kyle and Ashley at Midnight Studios for taking care of this issue for me.

And thanks to Tommy G, Oaklawn Crematory, and JDubbya for encouraging me not to give up on getting these pieces fixed.

Thanks, Punkineater. A very happy ending indeed. I've gone from cringing and looking away every time I'd glimpse the original Destiny, to walking into the room just to take another peak at the her. lol.
