Stopped in Michaels today to take advantage of their 50% floral and greenery sale (thru Sat 3/4). They also have 40% off on some of their lighting as shown below. This includes their Gemmy Lightshow LED projection and screw-in lighting. These are the kaleidoscope style bulbs (not Fire & Ice). I'm not sure but think the turquoise color might be new. Decided to pick up the projector version for my tropical water scenes (14.99 on sale).

They also have some the old type incandescent "filament" bulbs on sale:

Found these in their $1 bin area. The mini stamp sets came in various type styles and some sets had upper and lower case lettering. Picked up a few and will use them for labeling on my lab jars. Skeleton keys are metal and decent weight.

Since there's interest in the turquoise Lightshow projection spotlight, here's a few pics I took in a dimly lit room. I really like the color difference from the Gemmy LED blue or green spotlights I have. When I bought it I was thinking of using it for a watery look in a tropical setting. Seeing it lit up I also can see using it for an underwater setting with fiji mermaids and creatures of the water world. Not sure how it shows on everyone's computer screens but it is definitely more turquoise in color on the wall than green.

It has the same swirling kaleidoscope pattern as other Gemmy motion spots with the same globe shape cover. As you can see you can notice the triangular shaped kaleidoscope look of the light pattern on the wall. I had a Ross plastic shopping bag laying there and put the plastic over the globe cover and the effect was a more uniform look and maybe more gentle wave motion (not pictured), although the plastic shopping bag was IMO too thick to pass enough light onto the wall. Thinking it's worth trying with some lighter, more translucent fabric though. ;)

For color comparison for underwater lighting, here's a photo I took of my Cephaloid Mask lit with a blue Gemmy Kaleidoscope projection spotlight and then with the turquoise light.

not even a choice to me , the turquoise for sure looks the most like water and really brings out the mask. I will have to see if I can find this light at michaels. We have two and both are smaller stores and probably doesn't have it but it's worth checking.
