I have found when I needed to make a cow head or a torso on a static prop, a very cheap item , yet light weight and even a common thing that fills the "Bill" can sometimes be those large (empty) plastic Cat's Pride kitty litter (20 #) containers.
A large laundry detergent bottle made a sort of squared Cow head, cows do have sort a square jaw line.

"Why I needed a cow head?" Obviously to make my" Alien -just ate-his way through a COW " costume!
Yes I did, on display here in my haunt Ravens Grin .
There was a mysterious cow-death around the early 1980's about 15 miles from me along a high cliff overlooking the Mississippi River in the mud and there were no tracks of any kind anywhere near the cow's carcass, maybe the stealth black helicopters dropped it there?
The Military ammo depot is close by where the cow was found. 330 large buried ammo bunkers now sit empty. At one time more than 1/3 of the USA's nuclear weapons were being kept there! YIKES!
