I'm thinking of building a large troll that will permanently be in the yard. I'm thinking of a either a 2 inch PVC pipe or PT lumber frame covered by chicken wire. Over that drape old bed sheets soaked in some sort of cement mixture. The troll will be appox 7-8 feet high. Any ideas on the frame or the covering?

I've had good luck just dunking cloth in paint and using rigid EMT conduit and hardware cloth (plus branches and vines) for the frames. You need to rebar support the frames where they are going to stand, but the monsters are light and portable, so could even be brought in.

Mother is 7ft tall.

I don't know about monster mud, where can I find the information?
I wrote a big tutorial on it before I went to the straight up paint.

I switched to just paint because I find it quicker and more durable as my stuff IS outside all year round. Monster mud IS sturdier as a building material, but it is also prone to weather, and my building method is less a solid shell and leaves gaps on purpose, which made sealing it completely impossible. A more solid build wouldn't have that limitation.
