I was looking to see how to store masks? Last year I opened them and I lost about 5 masks there were a few stuck together and there was one that was flattened like all the moisture was sucked out of it. Don't know what happened to them. How do you store your masks?

Several ways to do this. We keep all of our latex masks on styro wig heads in a closet. You can store them in totes by stuffing them with plastic bags or news paper to retain their shape. Vinyl masks can just be stuffed with paper. Latex is sensitive to extremes of temperature so don't keep them in an attic or garage where it gets really hot or cold. A quality mask well taken care of should last for many years. We have some nice latex masks over 20 years old.

Hi. I specialise in repair and preservation of collectable Latex masks. Please check over this article on my website: http://www.maskdr.com/page6.html
In brief; be sure to clean your masks after use with mild soapy water or an alcohol wipe, because sweat contains oil and can harm latex. Powder them inside with cornstarch. Then stuff them out with plastic grocery bags, or put them on Styrofoam wig stands. Don't use newspaper, it is very acidic. Then put them in airtight plastic bags, and away from light until needed.
