I have had
Mandrake the Tree Ent from Design Toscano sitting under a large fern on my covered front porch for a few years now; in the winter I bring him inside. The porch is covered only on top, the sides have no protection so he does get some wind/rain although not a lot. Anyway, it appears the limited weather may have affected him because the paint is chipping on his "ears" and upper body a bit. I can see down to his resin body which is flesh colored.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to paint over the chipped parts, also, what could I coat him with to prevent further chipping?
