I came across this photo of a mad scientist switch prop. It looked really cool, but I've been doing web searches to try and find someone who may sell without success. Has anyone seen anything like this on one of the Halloween prop sites per chance? Thanks.

Little hard to make out the image. Looks like a knife switch. Is it just a prop, or actual switch that can control an electrical current?

Yes, sorry the image is so small. It looks like a pre-fab sort of prop, but I just couldn't fimd anything online. Probably exists somewhere, just can't find. Evidentally when you throw the switch, it screams and there is a little lightening bolt that lights up a bit.

I appreciate the thought about trying to construct. Wish I had the talent of some of the folks in this forum. I love looking at the talented people create stuff ...

Glad Odiebenny asked the question and thanks SacramentoGal for finding it. I get BuyCostumes' emails but hadn't noticed this item. BTW the offer is through Monday 7/27 11:49pm CDT. Looks like a pretty cool prop for the price. I bought one (to get 2 with bonus BOGO free offer) thinking two would look better on a lab wall than one. Coincidentally last week I bought a Frankenstein head statute so hopefully the switches will get good use. And I just remembered that I have two skelly doctors and a kicking legs prop from BigLots last year....sounds like a plan for halloween.

Thanks to SacramentoGal I bought the LaboraGory Shocker Door Knocker from BuyCostumes during their 2 for 1 clearance sale. Extremely happy with company and product. It's a nice quality plastic. The switch actually flips, there are lights that go on, and there's a buzzing sound with someone screaming (from getting electrocuted..). I can't gush enough over this. This is an old thread from 2009 and as you probably noticed BuyCostumes no longer carries it. It is available thru Amazon right now though if your still looking for it: Shocker Door Knocker and it's even cheaper now! Toyny is selling it thru a few different places but it looks like with shipping Amazon is your best bet.
