I’ll post a photo of the doom buggy soon!
Whitehall PA was the store that I got it from.Didn't happen to be in DC MD area, did it?
Looks nice. Glad you got a helpful worker and you no longer have to hunt for it!Dooooom buggy the inner box was ripped but the inflatable wasn’t!
Ok, I gotta remember, 'ask really nicely'.... Maybe I should take donuts and pass em around to the employees???? My 'nice' sounding voice can come across as raspy and annoying maybeI was able to get the doom buggy I just asked super nicely and they brought it down!
Asking nicely always helps! Not only today when they helped me get it but a few days ago when they didn’t, I mean I went there before today and was pretty nice when they said ‘no we can’t sell them’ etc etc, so I think that has something to do with it, if I was screaming at the top of lungs to BRING DOWN THE HALLOWEEN, I don’t think they would of done it today.Ok, I gotta remember, 'ask really nicely'.... I wish you luck!, I’m sure you will be able to get one, they undoubtedly will be available at some point online too, probably briefly but I’m sure they will have some for shipping in addition to store pickup, I just worried about the scalpers on eBay and such. I remember last year’s haunted mansion inflatable was going for 500$$. I’ll just say that if you keep an eye on your local store then you’ll definitely get one, when my local store moves the summer merchandise out they immediately put the Halloween up within 24 hours, keep an eye out for that at your local location.I hope I'm able to get one of those. I have a spot also for it in the yard with some other related display items. The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at Disney world and I have many memories of riding it with so many members of my family, some of whom have become happy haunts there. So it's kind of a sentimental purchase as well as a Halloween haunt purchase. I will travel around to some of the stores in my area and see if I can hopefully convince somebody to sell me one.
Yeah I understand, their used to be no at home stores near me until Kmart closed now there’s 3 within 100 miles, Lowe’s usually put’s the decorations out mid to late August depending on your location.I hope so. My problem is that Lowes is not close by, so don't get there as much. But will make every effort.
It looks like last year’s haunted mansion inflatable and this years one that will be sold in store at lowe’s (Doom Buggy) is basically the same, torso on up, torso down it’s cut off and it’s just the doom buggy. Now about the size I believe it is similar, I do not have last year’s version to compare but they do indeed look the same size.Does anyone have a list of Haunted Mansion items coming to lowes? I've seen Madame Leota, her tombstone, the grandfather clock, the gargoyle, a snowglobe and the doombuggy. Also how does the doombuggy compare with last year's inflatable? Home Depot is selling that one this year and I got one on their site. Is the ghost torsos exactly the same but in a doombuggy or are they smaller/larger?
I wonder if theres a way to make last years inflatable sit inside another inflatable that looks like a Doom Buggy, lemme see if I can find something. It looks like last year’s haunted mansion inflatable and this years one that will be sold in store at lowe’s (Doom Buggy) is basically the same, torso on up, torso down it’s cut off and it’s just the doom buggy. My Lowes told me in So. CAL that best way to snag is buy it online or check the store when they do the display on August 15Just went to my local lowes. The employee wouldn't sell me anything but he did confirm they will have 12 doom buggys available for purchase. He also said everything will be out by the end of August but last year it was all out by mid August.
