I had surgery today on my ankle and in post-op was told I would be in fiberglass cast through Halloween instead of the walking boot like I had hoped.
So I thought I would ask here to see if anyone had ideas on how to hide or decorate that thing so it can be a little Halloween-ish! I wont be able to be in full costume as usual but I will be able to sit and hand out candy to the kiddos!

I'm in the same boat. I've been battling osteomyelitis in my foot since November of last year. I now have to walk with the aid of a knee crutch called an iWalk. My niece and nephew insist I'm a "super pirate", but I was wondering the same thing, what to do about a costume. :(

This is my peg leg. They call her "Trixy".

I could cover it up with a faux wood grain type material and that would create a pirate peg leg.

What to do, what to do. :)

I could see you iwalk modified into something steampunk! Add some gears and piston bits, cover it to look wood and metal and there you go!
