This is awesome. I have (or my daughter has) that exact same house. What kind of paint did you use? The paint specifically for plastic?

i justed cleaned it then i used Kryon Fusion plastic spray paint .
i also hand painted the details with acrylic paint and then sealed it with selaer

I've seen a lot of the little tike houses and cars redone for Halloween and Christmas displays. I have a couple of dwarf characters, so was always checking prices on Craigslist for a deal. A couple of years back there was one for sale locally for pretty cheap so I went to look at it. I made the mistake of saying I wanted to turn it into a cottage for one of my Halloween characters. The guy said he has a few other people coming to look at it so he'd have to get back to me - he didn't. You can guess the rest of the story - he had it planted out in his front yard at Halloween that year as a witches hut. Lesson learned!

Yeah, me and my big mouth caused a recent problem, too. I usually find lots of the shiatusu massagers for cheap. After picking up quite a few for a MNT last month, I made the mistake of saying what they were used for at Goodwill. they went from $5 to $10! Right now there are 3 just sitting on the shelf because I won't buy them. I hope they rot there! LOL

well so far it is holding up just fine

Aww thank u sweetie. I am still on the hunt for item to make into a Chandler I want to hang inside and have a ear I want to attach to outside and some other details just needs to cool down to hot outside
