The Colorado Haunters Group got together yesterday and made leering Skeletons on toe pinchers. Thanks Spookydave for hosting.

Some folks asked me to post photos of the inner workings, so here they are. My advice would be don't use a pose n stay. Two people did, and it was way harder than putting PVC up the spine.

What knd of rigging is that for the linkage? Does it need to be set up like that? Trying to understand how all that translates into the right movement. I happen to have a vent motor I might be able to use for a pirate on a barrel. Is the linkage just free floating. Thank you.

We made them at a Florida Haunters M&T at Ghostess' house several years ago. We used wiper motors, bluckies and tombstones. Some were leering out from behind the tombstone and at least one was sitting on top.

I will have to defer to SpookyDave for this one. He put the linkage together with screws bolts and the metal pieces, and yes, I think it needs to be similar to work properly. I've seen set up very similar on the internet.

Great Project! Where can I purchase the power cords for the Motors?
I cannot find the link that I purchased them from or a confirmation email. I think it was electronics warehouse. It is my understanding you can use any power cord just by cutting of the one end.
Someone on the forum told me where to get them. You might be able to find it by searching. I think it was a discussion about replacements for deer and vent motors.

Good luck.
