A week later than planned, and many unplanned issues overcome, but Jack and Zero are finally out.

Absolutely lovely props! How long did it take you, start to finish? It's very inspiring...hmmm...I just happen to have an old deer skull in my backyard that could probably be used to make a mold. The wheels in my head are turning now!
Jack was mostly done last year, I was just refurbishing him this year and redoing the hands (beore he broke, anyway).

I typically do hour long spurts per day on these, so with that in mind, Jack's hands took me a week, fixing the rest of him took another 4 days.

Zero's head took 2 days, but required a week long drying period in between, his body took another day.

And took me a good 4 days to find him a suitable nose. NO ONE around here had G40 replacement light bulbs. Ended up buying a whole string just for the nose.

I'm sure the reds,, oranges, purples, and greens will come in handy for Halloween, though. And I can always hack the string to do some of Terra's lovely candles.
Wowww! I really like them both, but the Zero i really love!

I think I saw some of them in Target the other day. Are they about as big as a ping-pong ball??
If that's them let me know if you need more. I'll pick 'em up and ship them to you.
Awesome job! I love zero!
That's sweet!
Great job. Can't wait to see what other ones you'll come up with in the near future.

I have been bah humbugging it around for the last couple of days.
Christmas is NOT MY favorite time of year.

however, you may have just changed my mind.

I absolutely love them!
They are freakin sensational !

wish I lived next to you.....hee hee.
You could decorate every holiday and I think I would be good with it !!!!!
Yeah, Christmas is not my thing, either.

That's part of the reason for building Jack last year. It helps some. I'm still rather bah humbug, though. The boys put out the rest of the lights this year, that was nice.

I'm baking all weekend, then my son's Bday party for his friends is on Wed. Then, he has a family party on Sunday, then we're hosting a Christmas eve breakfast for my family, and a Christmas Eve dinner for my Wife's family. (normally we don't host the latter, but...not sure what happened this year)

Then we visit 6! houses on Christmas.

I loath this time of year.

At least I get work off from the 24th till the 4th.

Since you do both, which is worse? Having to go to everyone's home or having everyone come to you?
unorth, those are fabulous. but i don't have access to them and so i am still not a christmas person. however you are a big inspiration of mine. i can't wait to do my graveyard next year. i have been sketching out plans and am determined to do it.

Before we had the kids, it was simpler to just go to everyone's house and not have to worry about cooking.

NOW, however, it's much simpler to have everyone over.

Not trying to pack up the kids, then not having to pack around whatever presents they get at each seperate place, all they while all they want to do is play, and with one in diapers still that just adds to the joy of going non-stop for 14 hours Christmas Day.

The problem THIS year, is the double booking on Christmas Eve.

I got a breakfast to do from 9-12, then we got to get it cleaned up, and dinner cooked for a dinner at 6.
My boys and I are sitting here watching Gremlins, and ya know...the Gremlin Christmas Charolers would make a LOVELY christmas display....
unorth, how's your one neighbors taking your display? it is as usual awesome. the gremlins would be another great idea. how about the grinch. i can just see your yard full of all this christmassy halloween fun. lol
I don't know how they're taking it as I haven't spoken to them since Halloween. They've been avoiding me whenever I'm outside, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

LAST year, they just thought Jack was an odd Santa, so I don't think they get it at all.
Great job, like mentioned before the gears are also turning here. We may have to add to next years Christmas stuff.
