Now that I have your attention, I'm looking for suggestions for a prop, props, or craft idea. I have about a dozen of these off-white plastic canisters with screw on lids. I drink a lot of Whey Protein shakes, and this is what the protein powder comes in. The soup can is just to show the size of the canisters. Also here is a picture of last year’s graveyard, so you have an idea of what I’m working with. Any suggestions of what I could do with them? I was thinking of maybe trying to use them for some kind of lighting, or maybe even put lights in them and hang them from my Palo Verde tree in my graveyard, which might look pretty, but maybe not all that Halloweenie, plus since they’re somewhat opaque they would likely only give off a soft white light, which isn’t what I’m going for in the graveyard. I also thought of painting them like pumpkins, but again, I’m not sure that would look all that impressive. I'm open for suggestions, please. Raw milk Mason jar Grain milk Dairy Milk

The first thing that I see when looking at them is the head of a giant Lego man. :D Which I guess you could use them as the base for a prop that needs a head.

Maybe you could make a street light out of PVC and decorate the jugs up as globes...they look like they would diffuse light fairly well. Maybe even cut the bottoms of them off, soften up the ends and make a jig to help shape and flare the ends to look more decorative. You could take 1/2' PVC cap one end fill with sand and heat up the PVC with a hair drier or heat gun enough to bend it into a curve (there are a few tutorials you can find on Youtube) and attach whatever hardware you need to let the jugs hang from the end. Take 3 or 4 of them and anchor the other ends of them to the top of a 2" or 3" PVC. Fill the top with something like Great Stuff and shape it so it looks more like one piece when you go to paint it. Maybe with something like Krylon or Rust-oleum hammered paint. Of course you can Google "street lamps" or street lights" and find some pics to get some good ideas. Having a dozen of those jugs sounds like you'd have enough to experiment with.

That's all I can come up with for right now.

Maybe light it with some yellow ultra bright flicker LEDs or flicker bulbs.

Have you tried an orange light in them? They look like decent candidates for 'witch jars'. Dirty up the outside a bit and puts some lights inside. Some soft amber colored/candlelight in a graveyard would be very fitting, IMO

If they glow at all, you could also print and cut out halloween type stencils to glue on the outside to make kind of luminaries/lamps.

Or along those lines I could see someone going the more artsy way and painting faces on them for indoor decor. Maybe throw a glow stick in each, or containers for a candy buffet.

They might make a decent par can if painted black and stuff lights inside. (probably want to avoid big incandescent, but CFLs or LEDs would work)

Those are some great ideas. I like the idea of turning them into some kind of lighting. Also, hadn't thought of heating and distorting them into a creepy shaped globe. I might try that as well. Thanks a bunch.
