How'd ya do the skin? I use white glue and unbleached paper coffee filters to get a very similar effect.

Decay Fence: Progress (sort of) Update

After using the same "temporary" fence for the past 6-7 years I decided it was time to replace it. So I have slowly been working on the new one for the past several months. I just completed the mache work on the fence post skulls and they are ready for final painting. I want the fence to have a decayed, swamp like, appearance so I mached the skulls with a wood-like texture as though they grew from the wood post.
