I spent much time and energy today cutting dead limbs from living trees (the dead limbs had no leaves) When the wind gusts in October , if a walk-way, trail goes under such a limb a whole new danger presents itself.
Now would be an excellent time to look "UP", check out those limbs, and then trim them, cut them off.
You wouldn't want a tree limb to fall on your best Display Would you?
The limbs I eliminated were over a display...

We had a huge tree from the woods on the north end of the property fall on a tree and almost hit the garage. If the other tree hadn't been there it probably would have creamed the side of the garage I have all my outside Halloween on.

We had to have the fallen tree, the tree it basically split in two and another dead tree removed last week.

I'm not sure about the trees in the front yard but last year a limb came down and obliterated one of my pumpkins and an old graveyard fence post.
