OK, Next year I'm going to start with Pneumatics. I will be be running one single acting cylinder. just like this one Prop Pneumatics - Air Cylinders for Props - Single Acting - 3/4" Bore Single Acting Cylinders - Halloween Prop Building Supplies For The Home Haunter - Monster Guts ok the port is 1/8 so i would screw this quick connect to the port right? Prop Pneumatics - Air Accessories - Push Quick Male Connector - Halloween Prop Building Supplies For The Home Haunter - Monster Guts. Then i would run that to a valve. could i use a two way valve? Prop Pneumatics - Air Valves for Props - 2 Way Solenoid Valve - Halloween Prop Building Supplies For The Home Haunter - Monster Guts. since I'm only running one cylinder from one compresser i would not need a air regulator. then I would put in air filter Prop Pneumatics - Air Accessories - Air Filter - Halloween Prop Building Supplies For The Home Haunter - Monster Guts then I would run a motion sensor to the valve. is this all right?

Thanks for everyones help!

If you 're getting into pneumatics sooner or later you will add more cylinders etc. A filter placed before the solenoids will protect dirt etc from getting in them and also keep the cylinders clean . I would use a filter all the time. Just my opinion...........
