I am Groot...eventually

This year many things will be preventing me from doing pretty much anything Halloween related. However that just means I have an entire year to make a costume. I have decided to try and make Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy. To help I have bought myself an inflatable mannequin that mostly matches my proportions and some underarmor to mount the costume to as well as let me stay comfortable


Though my Halloween is over before it begins, my girlfriend will be going as Eowyn from the Lord of the Rings. So while out at Spirits yesterday she bought the warriors shield


Some Krylon spray paint and citadel miniature paint later to touch it up she now has a shield with the symbol of Rohan.
