So got a bag of bones at the drugstore for 5$ instead of 12$ so I had to get it for sure.
The only thing the casting is not the best and has a big seems running on the skull and was wondering if there a cheap an easy way to smooth it out so it looks better.
Fine grit sandpaper should do it, but go slowly and carefully, since the material is not exactly the most rugged stuff around. I used fine grit sandpaper on some styrofoam heads and it worked great.
I would be inclined to use a sharp blade if you have a steady hand. A sharp blade should slice easily through the plastic seams. As mentioned you will end of with a lighter coloured seam once you peel off the layer that has been painted a little.
Hey, I worked on one tonight. What I noticed is that some of the seams actually join above the actual skull. Thus if you cut the seam flush with the skull you end up creating a hole.
