How to find local haunts and haunters?

I live on Fort Collins, CO. I've been looking for fellow haunters for years. I'd put myself in the middle of the pack when it comes to haunts that I see people posting and talking about on this board. To all my neighbors it is borderline extreme, but compared to you folks, again, middle of the pack at best.

Anyhow, I can't seem to find anyone else even close to my level. I drive neighborhoods looking around. Some have small graveyards or cute setups that my kids love.

With the popularity of Halloween, I need to assume there are at least a dozen or more folks in a town of 135,000 that have some cool setups. I just can't seem to find them. No local forums. I google and youtube search.

How to find local folks?

Not sure if there is one, but we found a local facebook group in our community devoted to haunters (even has a competition that I finally entered this year!) Maybe check that or some of the other social media sites - good luck!

Same here. Someone is buying those $200 props at Spirit and I'd like to find out who. A few years ago someone suggested making up some cards with your contact info on them and a message about starting a group or visiting each other's haunts and slipping them in the boxes of the expensive props in stores.
