I'm thinking of mixing up some sand in latex paint instead of buying dryloc, but I am not sure how much sand I will need for a gallon of latex paint.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
Do test samples on scraps.
I live in a 1939 home and they put sand in the paint , how much is subject to taste. Start small, log what you do on each sample, than come back In a couple of days to decide.
There's no wrong or right, but it'll get exspensive if you add to much to you whole gallon & it's to much.
Or you could try monster mudding instead of sand in your paint, just a thought.
