I plan on using liquid latex for some effects to cover sculls, foam heads and such. I have never used it before and need some advice as to how much one would use to cover a foam head. Should I just buy a gallon or would a pint be ok for these smaller projects?

Great thanks! A girl has to save money where she can! With the foam heads I was thinking of painting it on and using tissue or something to clump it up a bit. Any issues with latex adhering to foam heads? And can you paint it with acrylics after? Or Spray paint?

This is going to be a learning curve for my first latex project, I'm sure!

If you are going to corpse too, you may want to get a quart, just to be safe. I've just used spider webbing to corpse, not tissues so I hope someone else can answer that for you.

Latex will stick to the foam fine. There are a lot of different foams so I can't be 100% sure, but when I latex, I've discovered it sticks to everything, including my socks! LOL! Got some nice drips on them...

Acrylics are a great paint for latex.
