I was actually introduced to ScaryScary twentythree years ago at my job through a co-worker. She was working in his dept as a temp and I guess the topic of Halloween or scary movies came up and he said "Oh have I got someone you have to meet....."lol did any of you on your first date ask " are you a Halloween fanatic? cause i am" ...lol let them know right off the bat what they were getting them selves into.
you know it's funny you would think that your own kids would understand and be into Halloween as much as the parent.. i mean you raised them ya know. they should of inherited some of the Halloween craziness.I'd say my husband is resigned to his fate as the other half of a Halloweeniac. I'm wearing him down though. For the past few years he's carved JOLs and invited people to come see my decorations. My kids have the state hospital on speed dial and think I'm satan but even they enjoy the food and decor.
I'm not a prop builder but I think I could count on hubby to break out the power tools if I asked nicely and provided the beer!![]()
lol i asked my mom if i could put up the fall stuff.. not even halloween stuff and she said no that it was way to early for that were still in summer.Such a sweet thread! It cheers me to see all the spooky love on this forum!
My other half is just a smidge less Halloween obsessed than I am. I think it summarizes how much he loves Halloween when about two weeks ago he asked, is it too early to put up the Halloween things?
Jen1984, I think you should get a singles Halloween party started for your town or neighborhood. Not only would it be a blast, and lower inhibitions, but the costumes would reveal so much about the person from the beginning!![]()
I didnt do that but we met in August in college and our first Halloween together we went shopping together for a pumpkin to carve. We looked and looked until we found the perfect one. Nice and really big and had a great size for a fabulous design. I had said something like I hope it doesnt bang around in the car on the way home.(He had a 1967 mustand when I met himlol did any of you on your first date ask " are you a Halloween fanatic? cause i am" ...lol let them know right off the bat what they were getting them selves into.

Only when I looked back I found it seat belted in the back seat! [email protected] Like a toddler!
