How Is Everyone Holding Up?

Just curious how everyone is doing? Stressed out? Excited? Saturated? Over it? REALLY excited? Wondering why do you do this to yourself? I'm all of these things. I have a punch list of things to work on each of the next 4 days and it seems...doable. But it's going to be non stop for me. We do an open house (party), plus a TOT station for our VIP kids, plus we do the outside/regular TOT thing and at this point I'm wondering why do I do this to myself! It's too much! It's making party food, putting together the TOT station, cleaning the house, decorating the house, decorating outside, putting together the TOT bags, and doing my own costume! I know I'll feel it's all worth it once guests arrive and the compliments start rolling in but for now...GAH!

I'm feeling everything. LOL I'm anxious, nervous, excited, tired, blah, blah. Wish it was October 1st again. lol
Hot. Freaking hot. I hate working on props in a hot garage.

I am bouncing back and forth and around between saturated, excited, and over it! :)
Yesterday, I was ready for it to just be over already but today I'm thinking, hey this might be fun after all!
The saturated part comes in because I started too early, even though I thought I was starting late, and everything was done two weeks ago. I enjoy it much more if I'm still tweaking and adding things till the last minute. Plus, it's just taken up space in my head for too long. I feel ready to move on to a new project. I guess I have a short attention span.;)

Lol, just came from Lowe's, bought two lengths of 3/8 10 ft, took my bolt cutters and cut them at 5 feet, they were $3.50 each, HD wanted $4.98...yeah I'm feeling several moods but no way I want it over with , I've done too much work and I know it will be worth it in the end, yes it's stressful but it was my own choice because it's my favorite holiday, I'm on vacation all week and all the way through next Tuesday, doesn't feel like a vacation but again it was my choice, thing is I was stressing but I am starting to run into some luck and things are falling into place so I'm getting pumped up.
I've been pretty chill this year so far. Things seem to be coming together nicely, and I'm ahead of schedule. Weather right now is what is making me nervous. Supposed to rain hard core tonight and tomorrow, with a windy night set for ToT. Just hoping everything stays together, trying something new to mitigate the rain pooling on my driveway tarp maze, fingers and toes crossed.
Exhausted, not even close to ready, stressed out, disappointed that it won't be as extravagant this year. One thing after another has come up, delaying me from finishing my set up/projects/plans. Today is supposed to be the day I finally get my black light section set up, but something is wrong with my furbaby and I'll be taking him to the vet tonight. Praying for a simple remedy but he's not looking too well. This is gonna set me back even more in more ways than one. :( I'll be lucky if I can get a simple/decent enough display together before the big night(including finishing our costumes, buying the candy, etc...)

I didn't get everything up this year, but I'm pretty satisfied. I'm a little worried about the weather, though--its been rainy for October here in Atlanta.
Stressed out. It's raining. I need to have my fence and lights already out, but I can't do that until I get this walkway/bridge situation fixed, and that needs to be started over from scratch. Let's just say that yesterday was a bad day. Also, our elm tree hates Halloween - roots absolutely everywhere I tried to stake. Hoping for no more rain on Saturday. Wondering why I do this to myself every year (knowing this feeling will pass).

Sorry to hear about your pet, Thriller. We've got a 20-some-odd year old cat whose time is coming up, which would be bad any time of year but with the added stress of Halloween right now it's a struggle.
Our TOT is on Thursday and I am a one day haunter. So tomorrow is staging day. Tomorrow is also the day we get socked by the remnants of Hurricane Patricia. We're expecting wind gusts of 20-30mph and lots and lots of rain. Other than placing re-bar and my PVC fence along the sidewalk- outdoor work is pretty much off the table. So it'll be a full day of getting as much as I can ready to go outside Thursday. It's gonna be a very hectic Thursday morning.
Yep I'm doing good, just need some batteries for the ghosts and make the treat bags.

I'm watching a movie on amazon prime right now with Peter Cushing, Vincent Price and Christopher Lee
Frustrated with the weather but otherwise ok. Got the last of the prep we can do completed - now to just pray for nice weather on Saturday! If it is nice then we will get to decorate the back yard for the wedding. If not we will just cram into the living room!
I think I'm OK so far. Keep looking at my list. A number of things to do are setup related, and that won't happen until Saturday. Hubby is being his usual self. Wouldn't even take the time to try on the doctor's jacket last night. Is there an appropriate term for people like this?? I'm leaving him responsible for pulling together the treats this year.
A little irritated that I'm going backwards. Patricia is due here tonight, so all the work I put into putting stuff out got undone. Anything at all light had to be taken down and put away in the shed or brought inside, or I'll be chasing it into the next county.
wind pretty much destroyed my crypt this weekend, rain soaked the rest. Fixed everything up, but giving 80-90% chance of rain saturday. Thinking of taking down and calling it a year before I lose every thing :(
We're getting excited! Carving pumpkins tomorrow for the front lawn :D
Completely unmotivated. Have a cauldron creep to finish, need to work on my outdoor projection, and have 20 pumpkins to carve. Just can't get into it.
I'm finally optimistic. Took a while, but I'm getting there now. Didn't;t build much new this year but spent a lot of time refining existing props and themes that needed a new approach.
I need to do some maintenence outside but it's been raining for days. Since we have guests coming in thursday night Wednesday night is my only chance, I hope, since we are supposed to get a break in the rain. I also have a lot of cleaning & decorating left to do inside. I'm on schedule so far though.
