How do you hang your paper decorations?

I've tried regular tape, 3M removable tape... putty... nothing really works well. What do you all use to hand up paper decorations around the house so they STAY up but don't damage the wall? Thanks.

Loops of blue painters tape on the back? I'd be curious to see the answer to this because I've been hesitating to hang mine.

All I know is that the scotch tape we used on our old Beistle jointed skeletons damaged the decorations.
I use Blue Tack all the time. It can stick for months at a time and doesn't leave a residue on walls and not usually on paper (unless really thin - like tissue paper). Very reusable - have bought one pack and still using it 4 years later (keep in zippie bag.)

This^...I use it on all my vintage Biestle paper decorations and have no problems at all.
I also say yes to Blue Tack or blue painter's tape. :)
Thanks, all! Is Blue Tack that stucky putty stuff? It's a brand I'm not familiar with. I will give it a try! Thanks so much!
I tried the blue painter tape today and it worked... for awhile. But now all my paper skeletons are falling down. So I either have wimpy blue tape or I didn't use enough. This happens every year... no matter what I do! It's enough to drive me crazy.
I just use push pins. I'm not that worried about tiny holes and easy enough to spackle over if needed.
I can also recommend the Blue Tack. I use it for a long time and it's ok
I use painter's tape; works really well on most.
Update: The blue tape works great on flat surfaces and doesn't seem to harm the paper decorations at all. But... the ones I hung on our textured wall did not stay. I will try the Blue Tack.
DigitalChick is your textured wall plaster? Ours is & am thinking about trying Blue Tack. Please post when/if you try it!

Thanks for the great suggestions everyone!
Blue Sticky Tack is your friend! I had to buy a whole new pack in the middle of decorating because I have tons of streamers and wall silhouettes. I even used it for my Dollar Tree lenticulars. They've been hanging in my hallway for weeks just fine!
