I have a bunch of animatronic props that I've acquired over the years but they don't really activate all that well. Most use either a motion sensor or are sound activated. Neither work very well. II was wondering if there was a cheap and easy way to modify them to go off by a timer instead? I don't mind rewiring or soldering.

Simple prop controller to activate the contacts and trigger the props. Then just a simple routine program to trigger the props one a timed interval. The EFX-TEK Prop-1 would give you the option of triggering up to 8 different props.

Because of smaller ToT's, we prefer to control when a prop goes off.
What we have done is created a control box with push buttons/doorbells. Used speaker wire to go from button to the props "try me" wires, after I cut off the button.
Worked well and was easy to do when you remembered what button did what (we labeled them for this year).
