Hi All,
I want to make a replica of the shriveled up head of Norman Bate's mother from the movie "Psycho". I have a skull but I want to add more detail by placing something over the skull that I can add detail and paint to, to make it look more like it did in the movie. Does anyone know if there is a material that I can place over my prop skull in order to do this?

That's me! And that's certainly an easy way to go, but if you want authenticity, I'm pretty sure the one for the movie would have been made by building up cotton and latex.
