Hi guys,

Thought I’d share a few pictures from our trip to Horror Con over the weekend.

Highlights included talks from Heather Langencamp (Nancy from Nightmare on Elm Street), Jonathan Breck (the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers) and the entire line up of Cenobites from the Hellraiser movies, including Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley. A great time was had by all! Heather also nipped into the After Party to chat, which was really nice.

Here’s some pictures!

We also did a half hour Zombie Checkpoint experience with Zombie Infection UK. It was seriously good - the actors were amazing, and the immersion was honestly terrifying. It was like literally being in a Resident Evil movie. Loved it. Can’t wait to go for the longer 2 hour experiences charting the story.

I'm a big fan of Doug Bradley and his character Pinhead. I found a CD of him narrating the H.P. Lovecraft story "The Outsider" that he autographed at a book store called Dark Delicacies several years ago.

During the cenobite panel, I was surprised that he seemed by far the quietest of them all. But they were all super nice, fun people. The panel was a great laugh. You can tell they all have warm feelings for one another.

Mr. Bradley was a guest for our local generic (all manner of fandoms) convention a few years back. My nephew and I were enjoying his solo panel discussion, but we had to be elsewhere for another event. So, we tried to quietly slink our way out of the room. When I looked up, Bradley was giving us a look. Like, I thought hooked chains were gonna come flying out of the wall.
Felt like crap about it, but sometimes convention events overlap time-wise. I got to enjoy a good half of his Q&A before we had to leave.

What did you think about the "new" Hellraiser movie that was on Netflix several weeks ago? I thought it pathetic, especially the lady "pinhead" character. Nothing even remotely scary or intimidating about any of the Cenobites or the story.

Went to one of these a few years ago. Keep meaning to try and go again. Very enjoyable.

I STILL haven’t managed to see it. Distribution in the UK was a shambles.

If you can't see it for free, I wouldn't suggest paying for it, it's that bad.
