I just watched these three videos from a YouTube channel I subscribe to and I couldn't be more excited at the possibilities. After you watch these videos, share what you would use this method to make...I am very excited with playing with this!

Video one shows you how to make a small backyard foundry for about $30 from plaster, playsand, buckets and PVC pipes.

Video two shows how you can then melt soda cans into Aluminum ingots for casting.

I recall seeing that particular concept on the Instructables website.
I pulled up a page of foundry ideas there - lots of concepts to review, ranging in cost and capacity.

(my personal favorite concept is the solar foundry, but the Altoid tin furnace is also a fun idea)
