I stopped into 3 different Halloween stores this past Sunday, Johnny Brock's, Spirit Halloween, and Halloween Express. Spirit was pretty amazing. I hadn't been in one for a few years now. My 8 year old daughter was thoroughly terrified. The other two were pretty much a waste of time unless you are looking for costumes, which I wasn't. Prices really varied from store to store. One thing at one store was $10 and $20 at the other.
Only thing we bought were panty hose with stitches on them for my daughter's Sally costume. But came out of there with some cool ideas. We may go back to Spirit for some lights once we start getting our display put together.
Fun time none the less

I completely agree, so far this year the only places I've found with anything good are spirit and target.....the $2 webs at target are definitely worth the money for covering the front of the house

Halloween express is amazingly expensive; I neither understand their bsuiness model nor how they stay in business.
