I got one of these this year Antari Fog Machine Z-Stream 1000w Fog Machine With Continuous Output , basically it is an entry level pro unit from what I read. Bad thing was I couldn't really see what it coudl actually do this year. The rain and wind was an issue and my new cooler had some issues and I kept getting blow back fogged my camper pretty good. Later in the evening when things settled down and took a ride I seen that I was fogging several campsites.

I have the 1301 and the 1600, and a couple cheap spirit foggers 400w and 1000w. I got the 1600 at Trans World last year on a special deal due to them selling the 1301 I had paid for moments prior, so they knocked some bucks off for me on the 1600 and I couldn't pass it up. It out runs and out lasts the 1301 by far, it will go easily 10 more seconds longer than the 1301 and deliver 2x the smoke. I think it retails for 50 bucks more, which is 100% worth the extra if you can spare it. I've seen pretty much all of them in action when they are demonstrating them at Trans World and I would say the 1600 is the best bang for your buck. You have to use GOOD fog fluid, not that cheap Spirit fog juice, buy from Froggy's Fog or even Master Fog if you want quality fog.

Thanks, yes I've been eyeing the 1600 but wasn't sure what you get for the extra money. Also some weird mixed reviews on Amazon. I'm thinking of going with a 1600 or two 1301s...want to get serious here...

i have many many foggers ... some still in boxes ... a couple of years ago i purchased an american dj fog fury 3000 mainly because it has a continuous fogging feature, which is gr8 for laser vortex effects ... depending on the wind, even at the lowest setting, it produces too much fog for my vortex ... it has so much output that i can easily fog out the whole neighborhood if i wanted ... more fog production than i want/need

remember, what ever fogger you end up getting, use quality fog juice ... never use the cheap stuff that every b&m sells ... you can't go wrong with froggy's :)

I now take a different route. I buy several cheap 400W machines on sale. (I usually place 3 of them in the yard each year and let them cycle through on their own). The problem with EVERY fog machine expensive or cheap, is the pumps. They just don't last and they're way too expensive to replace. (The last pump I replaced lasted 2 Halloween outings). I actually don't understand why they even use the pumps that they use for such a liquid.

I'm actually in the process of replacing a pump on my expensive machine with a $15 dollar 12V Peristaltic Dosing Pump. (Fog liquid stays inside the tube and never comes in contact with the pump). Should never have to clean it and should last for years.

I don't know, my VEI 960 just finished its eighth Halloween. It outfogs cheap 1000W foggers and has outlasted a few...

I had 2 ADJ fog fury's (set vertically) and a chauvet 1600 and the 1800 flex.

The 1800 flex CRANKED out fog. I had it going at like 50% capacity on Halloween night and I had to turn to down because I was obscuring traffic for several houses in all directions!
