Hi everybody, another newbie from the UK!
Found this site last year and found it very useful but this year I thought I'd better say hello!
It's great to see a lot of people on this side of the pond into Halloween and making a great effort - no match to you lot in the USA/Canada though!
I've always loved Halloween since I was a kid, when I was about 7 or 8 I can remember going behind my bedroom curtains and looking out for witches flying past when I should have been asleep - and disappointed when I didn't see any! In my early teens when my mates were building aeroplane or ship construction kits I was building the Phantom of the Opera, Frankenstein's monster and Dracula kits that glowed in the dark.
We've been doing a halloween party now for the last 8 or so years after seeing my step son & girlfriend dressed up and off to a party, I said I'd LOVE to go to a Halloween party to which Lynn, my girlfriend said "Why don't we have our own one" and I've never looked back since.
Each year it has grown and now it's getting harder to improve on the previous years but love trying!!
Current project I'm starting is the Pumpkin sentinels, pity we can't get the Funkin pumpkins over here without paying a fortune, will resort to a proper pumpkin like last year (hollowed out with red LED's in, mounted on a 6 foot wooden frame).
Happy haunting all and good luck with the preparations!
