HI folks, newbie here wants to know what to use on my skelly. I just stained him with minwax dk walnut and really like the color BUT he is a bit too shiny. Any ideas on how to dull this dude up?
Thanx in advance, Matt

I roughed mine up by rubbing dirt over the thing.

I though of spraying it with a clear satin sealer but the dirt was free.

I am sure others will chime in on this one for you.

Clear Spray Paint might do the trick. Although i think that dirt will be the cheapest way to go. Whatever you do just try it on a small part of the skelly so in case you don't like it you didn't ruin the whole thing. i learned that the hard way.

Yeah, for some reason, the new bucky's are very glossy. Luckily, I'm corpsing the new one I got. The old ones were dull, and looked great when you stained them up. I use Minwax Fruitwood stain for aged bone.
