I have taken all hints I could find from this forum on making my own tombstones. I have come upon a little snag I had not seen anyone post about. When I used the rasp for shaping my edges are all rough. Am I using he wrong "blade" on the rasp? I am using the one it came with. Anyone else have this happen? What can I do to make my edges smooth?

Any suggestions would really help because I still have enough foam to make one or two more stones before Halloween if I get this figured out. Thanks!

I agree with Halloweenkat, I use 120 grit sand paper.

OMG seriously? I have one and I was using it to sand the leftover "boogers" from the letters. Guess I should have used it on the edges! I'll try that. Thanks!

ill third the sand paper idea. i use the foam blocks from lowes that have the sandpaper on the edges. it helps flatten out the surface.
