Just received our AtmosFearFx dvds (which are as good as people said they were!!) but in trying them out with our projectors we can't seem to figure out how to minimize the overall light the projector throws into the room.

For instance we are using one of them (Creepy Crawlies 2) to project the snakes onto a bath tub in our 6' x 10' bathroom scene. The snakes look excellent coming out of the 'hole' in the bathtub and crawling over the sides and all, but the light from the projector itself lights up everything else in the room to the point that it is ruining the scene. There is just way too much light!!

Is there something I can do to minimize the light overflow or is it just a part of using projection that I have to accept?

You help will be greatly appreciated!

What type of projector are you using ? In most cases there may not be a way to shield the extra light without a filter and that could be tough depending on the type of projector .
