Help Needed:Crank Ghost frame

I was lucky enough to get two crank ghost mechanisms in a lot that I purchased from another haunter earlier this year. The problem I am having is I cannot figure out how to hang them so they are stable! He has them mounted to the ceiling which is not gonna happen according to my fiance XD
We have some pvc - would that be strong enough to hold? I wanted to put one in a windown inside and the other so it would raise up over the fence to the back yard.
