I need reliable LED net lights with a dark wire in purple. They need to have a purple LED not just have a colored bulb because those always fade. I got these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007HCK14E?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00) thinking they would be more reliable. Out of the box 2 of the 4 sets had 7 out between them. Now the other 2 have whole sections out. Those were expensive and I am really angry. It's too late to return them.

HELP!!?!?!

If it was me, I'd probably just go to Walmart or Target or Home Depot and see what they have in store and test the strings out before leaving. At least that way you'd know that they worked when you bought them and can return them pretty easy to the store if they fail like the others. :(

Hopefully someone that has some good recommendations for light websites, but I know Rania from the Haunted Garden has used lights from this site and they have purple net LED lights:

I would still try to return the defective lights. If they don't fix you up with new lights, then turn it over to Amazon. If the seller won't refund or resend you replacements, open an A to Z complaint and they'll get on it and get you your money back (and stand firm about the seller paying return shipping too - you should NOT have to pay for shipping of defective items). Just had something similar happen (defective product purchased from marketplace seller and they refused to refund the shipping cost and expected me to pay for return shipping). Amazon made them pay me the shipping costs and told the guy to either pay for return shipping or else they won't get the product back. :)
