Tried to do a search for you and this thread by Ironmaiden referred to an article that a number of members apparently liked the article. I think I read it way back when. Unfortunately the article is no longer a free pass just a partial preview now so can't see if it matched your content criteria.

Even if I'm not the author of the piece currently being hunted, I'm deeply flattered you remember what I write here.

Those of you who read my posts, or have read "The Halloween Host", know I feel the holiday is deeply important, I just had no idea people remembered my posts like that.

There's another version of my "The Need for Halloween" that I posted here once. It was written, like the novel, for my daughter - in fact, that letter became the catalyst that led me to finally finish the story.

Can't find it at the moment, but those of you who enjoy my ramblings... well, you just made my October.
