Hello,

I actually found this forum by watching the video of "The Bone Tones" in Youtube and were sad to see that there is no audio anymore, it was great to watch and hear them.

Besides, I'm a male, 40 Years old, got a family with 3 daughters and of course a lovely wife.

This year I luckely began to build props - I decided it about 3 years ago but still wasn't able to do it. - Haven't got any time. Since May I'm outsourced and time is what I now got enough.

Till now I've done a flying crank ghost, a bottomless pit, a stirring witch & cauldron, and a thing called: " The most terrible beast in the world". It's a modified mirror which is in the Frankfurt Zoo in Germany, in which people see themselves. My next project is a "monster in the box" - which I hope to get ready till halloween.

I'm the only person far an wide who thinks about halloween - I haven't seen any decoration in the last years besides of any pumpkins (not lighted) and I hope that my neighbors will be upset when they see what I've done. They don't want something like that - they love to hear nothing, see nothing, don't want to be disturbed, I think they are almost dead, they only are too lazy to fall over. And naturally I hope that this year we will see a few child going from house to house and do what in your country is normal - "Trick or treat" - in German: "Süsses oder Saures".

To all out there - my english is not the best - so please, please correct me if you find wrong phrases.

:) Peter

Hello and welcome German Newbie. Your english is as good as it needs to be and your enthusiasm is far beyond that. Besides, Halloween is a universal language. I hope to hear a lot from you in the future and expect to see many pics of your props.

Tahnks for your nice welcome

I want to say thanks for your nice welcome greetings.

And further I'll stop apologizing for my "bad english". I always think what I do or say is not good enough - Don't mind it's a piece of my personality.

I learned english at school about 25 years ago and spoke it in the last years for only 4 or 5 times. I would be glad if you correct me because I could learn something.

Peter :D

Hi Peter! Welcome to the forum. Like the others said, don't worry about your english. Besides you are one of the few Germans I've met who even attempt to speak english so good for you!
I've been to Bremen and Oldenburg since they are close to the border but never heard of your town/city. Will have to look it up. Maybe you'll see me at your house with a trick or treat bag :D

Hi MsM,

need to say that I was very pleased to read your massage.

Don't worry that you don't know my town (Kassel has got only 200.000 citizens) and isn't really exciting.
