So with Oct just around the corner, what's everyone got going on this weekend? For myself, I will be getting the fence and tombstones up as well as finishing other tombstones. Still have to finish my grave walker guy, which will be creeping through the cemetery with a coffin on his back=) Also, I still have other props I would like to finish up as well. Just a side note, but is anyone in Colorado=)

Hopefully getting the outdoor blow molds out & lit & maybe doing the indoor stuff too.
I'm still getting a couple of odds and ends together, so I'm not ready to decorate yet. Although I might start putting up what I do have ready. Still need to mount some supports on the backs of my tombstones and unpack everything from last year, find my timers/extension cords, etc.
I have an appointment to take the hearse in to get a wiring problem repaired. The dash lights and control panel aren't working.

I will also start getting lighting out. I want to change it up a little bit from last year.

I still need to pull some things from the Halloween storage room and go through them to see what I will use this year.

So all in all a busy weekend.
Have already been upgrading tombstones, rebuilding coffins and reinforcing my arch. So many of my props are showing their age. This weekend I hope to start working on my Mad Scientists lab in the garage, a big step up from last year.
Lots of prop work around here, but we have a concert on Saturday, so will be on Sunday.
Just bought a new buffet table the other day, its all cleaned up and filled with china, this weekend we are setting up our halloween village on top of it :) We're going with a mad scientist theme this year so I've been painting specimen props for weeks, hopefully I can get them finished up this weekend and start putting together some of the specimen shadow boxes.

My son in law and daughter are coming by this weekend to put up my cemetery fencing and I am cutting out bases and then staining a couple of headstones. I had one that broke last year in the wind so I broke it even more and it will become a broken stone laying on the grass but I want to cut pieces of wood to glue on the bottom sides to help weight it down in a breeze.

This weekend I'll be working on and hopefully finishing my shadow man prop and giving my cauldron stirring witch a little voodoo makeover. I won't be putting anything out in the yard till the following weekend and I'll keep adding to the basic setup all month.
I'll be painting my mummy.
All of you guys sounds as busy as me=) Yep, also need to go through my stuff and figure out what I'm putting where. This will be the second yr with the kiddos helping me out=) Have to show them the right way so when I'm old they know how and what I need done=);)
Hopefully this weekend will go better than last and both the Huskers and Seahawks will win...as far as Halloween goes...I may start working on the horses.

With how things have been going, I am seriously considering taking part in a scream contest that one of the haunted attractions is holding tomorrow:rolleyes:

it looks cool like that
I have bought the last lil odd and ends I need..right now just waiting to set up
I'm currently taking a break from cleaning and decorating. My husband just made fun of me for removing the real cobwebs and dust only to put up fake spiders and webbing above my front door.

We will start adding all the fall foliage ( silks) to the house and then start taking the halloween boxes up and doing the rooms.. We have so many little things to get around the house. Then we will start getting the stuff out of the shed and upstairs in the garage and hang the skellies and the lights in the trees in front.Little by little We hope to have alot done by the 2nd week in Oct but there are alot of things that wont go up until the 15th and 16th. My sister comes for a visit on the 17th so I hope to have the cemeteries up and the things that sit on the porch done.. Little by little ~ Pat
