Hi everyone,

My name is Michael and I'm from Sydney, Australia.

Halloween isn't as big down here as I would like it to be, but thankfully it is growing each and every year. I'm doing what I can for my community by getting into the spirit and offering some fun and frights for the local kids (and parents). We had a pretty 'successful' 2015 I guess you could say and apparently, 'set the bar' for 2016 in the new estate I've moved into. I'm really hoping that my efforts have encouraged more neighbours to decorate on a larger scale, and personally, I want to blow them all out of the water next year and do something really special!

Hopefully on this forum I can make some new friends, learn some tips and tricks and get as much advice from other Halloween fans as I can regarding decorations, props and general ideas. It's going to be a fun ride :)

I'm looking forward to celebrating Halloween 365 days a year with you all.

Cheers!

Hey! Welcome to the forums! I think we've had quite a few new members from Australia this year. I think you guys can totally make it happen down there.

I don't think you'll find a smarter, friendlier or more generous bunch of people on the web. It's definitely a good site to have in your tool belt.

It is starting to get bigger down here now, we're slowly embracing the spirit of Halloween, thankfully.

I've been lurking here for a few weeks now and everyone seems very friendly and helpful. It's rare to find such a tight-knit community online these days, but I'm glad to have stumbled upon this one.
